Cintel Clip & Hook 51mm wide
This is a two part hook & clip for use with metal frames. The clip part of this item can sometimes be used with the Pirelli hooks to stop the hook tearing the webbing.

Pirelli Platforms
Pirelli platforms were very popular in Cintique and other good makes of chairs. Sadly they are no longer manufactured. Most popular sizes are no longer available. However we have acquired a quantity which you will find listed below. A few fixing tools are also available.
The following measurements are at their widest point. (The measurement in brackets is diagonaly from corner to corner)

Heavy Polypropylene Webbing
(A bit like seatbelt webbing)
Heavy Polypropylene webbing as used for bags and luggage etc. Available in three widths, 25 mm, 38 mm and 50 mm. Black only. Colours to order by the roll only.

Polypropylene Webbing
This is a type of woven webbing with a `plastic` feel used in some modern upholstery. It can be fixed with staples or tacks and is 50 mm wide. Sold by the metre.

Jute Webbing (11 lb)
A brown, 11 lb, medium quality, traditional webbing. Used on seats and backs of traditionally upholstered furniture. Not recommended under springs - see B & W (Herringbone) Webbing

Elastic Webbing
A heavy elastic webbing approximately 2 inches wide. Best stapled or tacked into position. Suitable for backs or seats. It has approximately a 70% stretch.

Atlas Webbing -
Heavy Rubberised Elastic Webbing
A heavy 2 inches wide stretch webbing of rubber rayon and polypropylene with compounds that are antioxidants retarding ozone, UV light and ageing. 10/20% stretch.
Can be used like Pirelli webbing except by the `peg method` or if it is to be cut to narrow the width. Staple or fix into grooves with pirelli web clips.

Pirelli Webbing
2 inches wide beige colour rubber webbing. Usually fixed by clips (W4) into grooves but can be fixed directly to a wooden rail with tacks or staples. Used in most Cintel and Parker Knoll chairs. It can be made narrower by cutting with scissors. Allow approx. 10% take up.

Easy Close Buckle
Side release buckle with easy push together fixing for use with Heavy Polypropylene webbing, or any other sort of strapping. Available to fit three widths 25 mm, 38 mm and 50 mm. Sold in packs of two.
