Last Christmas I bought several tools for my son's partner who is getting on very well with her upholstery, having done three chairs and has nearly finished a two setter sofa, these are period pieces. When she started I gave her your details and she hasn't stopped. I do more caning, but like looking through the catalogue to see if there is anything new she might want. I also appreciate the emails I get, and the demonstations i.e. box-cushion found very useful. Thank you. I would like to say a large thank you from the sales team of Clockwork Components for your expert tuition, I don't think any of us will look at upholstery in the same way again! I'm sure that we will be casting our critical eye over dubious pieces for years to come now we know some of the basics. You will be pleased to hear that the two chairs have taken pride of place in our showroom and will play a part in future in-house training . From a personal point of view I thoroughly enjoyed the discipline of your perfectionist nature, and being instructed and informed on the correct procedures relating to product application - for instance I never knew that pleats should have a direction of travel, and that when applying fabric you must take into consideration the weft and weave ( weft – weft to right ! ) I was also reflecting last night on what a wonderful invention the staple remover is! I think the training will pay its own dividends for all who attended, and will give us far more confidence to talk with conviction about products - having had the opportunity to use them -along with having an insight into the various stages of upholstery and how far ahead of yourself you have to look before tacking a staple . Other companies can sell me some of the goods but not everything that I need. Nowhere else in the world has the choice, quality, advice and service that you provide, you are second to none! All of your staff are friendly but business like. You are all efficient, knowledgable and helpful. In the French countryside there is often a problem with locating the address in order to achieve delivery of my supplies. However, UPS, the company you use, have always managed to find me within the times specified and the parcels have been in good condition on arrival.
