This is the very best; this needle saves time and labour. There is no need to remove the outside back of the piece being tufted. A truly splendid craftsman’s tool.
It does not catch when it is withdrawn. After threading a button, the end of the needle is loaded with clasps, and as the needle reaches maximum depth, the clasp is ejected.
