Description
A well balance magnetic upholstery hammer which is a cheaper alternative to the bronze version. This hammer has one magnetic head and one slightly wider non magnetic head but unlike the bronze hammer it has a split accross the nose of the fine magnetic head.
To help this hammer hold its magnetism t is advisable to keep a small piece of metal on the magnetic tip when the hammer is not in use, this this will help to preserve the magnetism. It is also advisable to keep it separate from other metal tools.
For a hammer with a permanently magnetised head see the bronze version.
