To improve the quality of our upholstery tacks we are now sourcing them from a UK manufacturer however, none of the extra cost is being passed on to our customers.
Note: Improved has a larger head than the fine. Always use the smallest tack length suitable for the job, large tacks can do a lot of damage.
All Sizes available in a 200 gram, 500 gram or a 1 kilo. Both of the larger pack sizes come with a FREE plastic box with resealable lid. (Style of box may vary)
The following is a guide only to the size of tack to use.
Code H1-500
3/4 inch (20mm) Improved Head – For spring ties and fixing webbing to very heavy sprung frames. (Avail in 500 grarm packs only)
Code H1A
5 /8 inch (15mm) Improved: For fixing webbing to heavier frames and fastening laycord.
Code H1B
1/2 inch (13mm) Improved: For fixing webbing to most frames.
Code H1BB
1/2 inch (13mm) Fine: When a 10mm is not deep enough.
Code H1C
3/8 inch (10mm) Improved: For fixing hessians, tarpaulin, webbing to some finer frames.
Code H1D
3/8 inch (10mm) Fine: For fixing scrim, calico and top fabric.
Code H1/PCK
This is a pack of 5 mixed sizes and types. 200 grms of each of the above except 3/4 inch (20mm).
